A Dream in the Making
Since I was 15, I struggled with selecting outfits that truly resonated with me. The racks at the malls never appealed to my sense of style, and I often found myself lost, not knowing exactly what I wanted. This discontent sparked a dream within me—to create a fashion brand filled with outfits that I would love to wear and design.
The Turning Point
My journey into the world of fashion design began when I got admitted to design school. I worked hard, yet I remained unsure of the exact path I wanted to take. Everything changed in May 2018 during a trek. I met a Pahadi woman crocheting while carrying two rucksacks and climbing a mountain. Her story was one of resilience—earning for her family while managing household chores. Her dedication and immense talent ignited a spark within me. I wanted to help these women who worked tirelessly, often without recognition.
Discovering Artisanal Crafts
In 2019, I participated in a craft research program in Kutch, a region known for its exquisite textile crafts and talented artisans. It was here that a thought took root in my mind and never left: to do something significant for the artisanal crafts of India. My love for Indian textiles grew stronger with each passing day, and the passion to build something meaningful led to the birth of Aareso.

Aareso, meaning "Mirror" in Gujarati, reflects the essence of authentic India. Our brand is a bridge between ancient traditions and modern fashion, bringing the finest crafts from every corner of India to you. Each piece we create is a testament to the skill and dedication of our artisans, blending heritage with contemporary designs.
